The release brings a diverse range of electronic styles of music.
Golden Era style production and lyricism from independent Hip Hop group made up of Boom Bap Veteran Dr.G and Underground Emcees Ghost One & Coopz. 19 tracks of raw Boom Bap beats & razor sharp lyrics featuring the likes of Hell Razah, Resolute, Chris Rivers, Cambatta, Moon Crickets, DJ Tray, DJ HWR. This self titled album is definitely essential for the collection of any true Hip Hop connoisseur.
When one first listens to the pair, Ghost One and Coopz, spittin’ to those Dr. G instrumentals; you can just feel something special is about to ensue. For some, it is nostalgic going back in time to the Golden Era when Boom Bap was at the forefront of Hip Hop. For others, it is something brand new, aggressive lyricism shot out the gun of harsh reality with numerology and symbolism crafted into the ammunition that is used in a battle against the mainstream (spiritual vs. robotic).
Most artists live life and talk about all their experiences through their music. A true Hip Hop artist takes that aspect and puts it on their shoulders to explain their observations in a poetic manner. Often times, they are standing outside the world and looking into it (through a magnified glass, so to speak).
In the UK, storytellin’-wise, it is no different. The only thing in the UK that is visibly different, Hip Hop has remained in the underground. Untainted by the clutches of the mainstream music industry, it is able to stay more pure to it’s roots.

Big Ribzy is back with a new single and video in “No Games”. This is the 2nd single off of his Platformz Records debut of the same name.
With visuals from Snakeyez TV Ribzy shows us that life in Wolverhampton can be just as dangerous as any other place where life is scattered with bad influences and tough choices. Letting off his bars over the aggressive banger from Rediculus, Ribzy tells you with no uncertainty “Know who you’re fucking with, check the CV”.
Novar FLIP, the artist formerly known as Supar Novar, delivers his second release under his new alias. ‘The Last Man Standing’ is an underground mixtape release on Flip Life Records and follows up his recent well received EP ‘The Hooligan’s Back’. This collection on nineteen tracks features some killer solo tracks as well as features from Flip Life Records label mates Big Ben, Ragz Sweet Jones, Danny Bones, as well as UK legends such as Logic from People’s Army, Big Frizzle, English Frank, Kingpin – formerly of Caxton Press, USG’s Exo & Squingy, Nate and many others. This great collection of UK bangers is something fans of quality music will enjoy and adore! Don’t sleep on the last man standing… Novar FLIP.
With the first chant of “Oi Blud!!!” you can tell that Trademark Blud isn’t taking and prisoners on his latest single “PMA” off his Rediculus produced Platformz debt “Blud on the Brain”.
Spitting bars that instill his visions of social rights and wrongs, Trademark Blud rides the track from Rediculus with an aggression that drips of the anger and pain he has endured on his journey to get his music out to the world. Whether he’s talking about what qualifies as success or he’s talking about how society breeds people who are never satisfied, Trademark brings honesty to his lyrics that few can match. He’s not pulling and punches and he’s not hiding anything he feels.
All he needs is his life and his fam. 1Love.
